PF Malaysia conducted a two-day symposium on restorative justice on June 1 and 2.
Of the 70-80 people present, roughly half were from the prison service or the bar association. The others were PFM volunteers, board members and other supporters.
The training covered the following topics:
- Introduction to PFI
- Introduction to Restorative Justice
- Introduction to Restorative Programmes
- Restorative Justice and the Criminal Justice System
- Restorative Justice and the United Nations
- Restorative Justice in Prison
- Sycamore Tree Project and Communities of Restoration (APAC)
