PF Malaysia Conducts Two-Day Restorative Justice Symposium for Public Officials and Others

PF Malaysia conducted a two-day symposium on restorative justice on June 1 and 2.

Of the 70-80 people present, roughly half were from the prison service or the bar association. The others were PFM volunteers, board members and other supporters.

The training covered the following topics:

  • Introduction to PFI
  • Introduction to Restorative Justice
  • Introduction to Restorative Programmes
  • Restorative Justice and the Criminal Justice System
  • Restorative Justice and the United Nations
  • Restorative Justice in Prison
  • Sycamore Tree Project and Communities of Restoration (APAC)
