It's Time for Restorative Justice
Restorative justice is a systematic response to crime that emphasizes repairing harm caused or revealed by criminal behaviour. Fully restorative practices and programmes: (a) identify and take steps to repair harm, (b) enable all interested parties to participate fully, and (c) draw on the strengths of government and community. In the following steps, Chuck Colson explains why it is time for restorative justice.
