Parent of prisoners

My son started using drugs in a acclaimed middle school in the US. He is 26 years old, and currently in prison for drug related crimes. He has been clean many times over the years. I pray for miracles and God provides miracles, but heroin addiction rears its ugly head; and my son chooses the drug, not God. I know that Christ can work all things for good for those who serve the Lord. Unfortunately, my son has freewill like all human beings, and only God knows his heart. Despite all the trama, I thank God that my son is alive; we have had wonderful, sober times together; my son is not infected with aids or hepc.
I don't know any other moms in my situation.
