Children
Children are vulnerable victims when a parent is sent to prison. Often confused, sometimes abandoned, here is an opportunity for the church to ministry to these little ones. Information, materials and projects show how to make appropriate and caring responses to the needs of prisoners' children.

- Residential and Foster Care
- What happens if there is no one on the outside to look after the children when their parent is sent to prison? At worse they are abandoned to live on the streets. In some settings they live in the prison with their parent. Projects have been established in many countries which offer residential care -homes or foster- family facilities to serve these children during their parent's prison sentence.
- Support
- Emotional and material deprivation are two obvious impacts on the family of a prisoner. Loneliness and stigmatisation are perhaps less obvious but equally debilitating for the family. Christians have an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ to these hurting, mostly forgotten, people.
