Prison Should Not Include Rape
Prison Fellowship in the United States advocates for legislation to adopt rape elimination standards in U.S. prisons.
Prison Fellowship in the United States joins a coalition of religious, political, human rights and civil rights groups to send a joint letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder urging him to adopt prison rape elimination standards mandated by legislation completed over a year ago. The legislation includes standards designed to end sexual abuse in prisons, eradicate the long-term harm to survivors, their families and their communities, and ensure safety and justice for the incarcerated, among other goals.
