Introduction and Recent News
PF Kazakhstan, chartered in 1999, carries out joint projects in 19 prisons in partnership with 4 different Christian denominations, community organizations and government agencies. The Social Bureau joint project has provided new opportunities for fruitful cooperation between different organizations in the penitentiary system and also in the former prisoner reintegration program. Through PF Kazakhstan the prison system has received large quantities of humanitarian assistance - trucks, ambulances, warm uniforms for the juvenile prisons, field hospital beds, medical equipment, sanitary and medical clothes as well as medical and training missions to alleviate medical problems in the prisons.
