Australia
Prison Fellowship Australia was chartered in 1982 and has supported thousands of inmates and their families over the past 25 years. Active in all states of Australia, PF Australia reaches out to prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families and victims. With the help of over 1050 volunteers, many programmes are available including Bible studies, children’s camps, mentoring, Angel Tree and Happy Birthday projects for children of prisoners. Currently serving 80 of the country's 82 prisons, PF Australia continues to make great strides prison reform with the help of Christ.
CNMI (Saipan)
Prison Fellowship CNMI (Saipan) was founded in 2001 as an organization dedicated to improving prison conditions and the lives of those incarcerated through the transforming love of Christ. Aftercare programmes, Angel Tree, the Sycamore Tree Project, evangelization, and mentoring give great support to inmates, their families, and their community.
Fiji
Established in 1984, Prison Fellowship Fiji has since grown to play an integral role in criminal justice, prison rehabilitation, and community reintegration throughout the country. Active in 12 of the country's 13 prisons, staff and a group of dedicated volunteers carry out the Lord’s work through aftercare programmes, Angel Tree, mentoring, prayer groups, and material assistance for prisoners and ex-prisoners. PF Fiji’s newest programme, Operation Restore, helps inmates for six-months as they prepare to make the transition back to the community.
Guam
Prison Fellowship Guam has been providing support to prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families, and victims since 1988. With the help of volunteers, aftercare programmes, mentoring, material assistance for prisoners and ex-prisoners, offender-victim reconciliation progammes, and children and youth activities are available in the country's only prison. The staff and volunteers are dedicated to bringing the transforming love of Christ to the approximately 600 prisoners in Guam!
New Zealand
Since chartering in 1982, Prison Fellowship New Zealand's work has spread across the nation and currently operates in every correctional facility. This has been made possible by bringing together Christians from a variety of backgrounds to join the prison ministry network. Over 1200 volunteers make weekly church services, evangelization, Bible studies, faith-based prison units, and aftercare available to inmates, their families, and their communities. The work of Prison Fellowship, which is based on the redemptive power and transforming love of Christ. continues to focus on changinglives from the inside out!
Palau
Established in 2004, Prison Fellowship Palau is active in the country's one correctional facility, the Koror Jail. A small staff and hard-working volunteers provide help and healing to inmates and their families through a family ministry, the Sycamore Tree Project, restorative justice programmes, and material assistance.
Papua New Guinea
Prison Fellowship Papua New Guinea was chartered in 1983 as an organization dedicated to spreading the gospel to inmates, their families, and prison staff. A dedicated staff and over 600 volunteers make Angel Tree, educational resources, children and youth activities, mentoring, and material assistance for prisoners and ex-prisoners possible. Prison Fellowship is also pleased to help prisoners build positive personal connections with their community through outreach activities in which prisoners participate in church services and other events outside of the prison. Since it’s establishment, PF Papua New Guinea has spread to 11 of the country's 20 prisons.
Solomon Islands
Dedicated to improving the plight of prisoners, their families, and victims , Prison Fellowship Solomon Islands brings Christ to those affected by crime. Educational resources, family ministry, material assistance for prisoners, and evangelization are made available with the help of over 100 volunteers. In response to ethnic conflict, the organisation offers a victim-offender reconciliation programme which helps the offender to take responsibility and both parties to find healing. PF Solomon Islands has spread God’s message of hope across the nation and is now supporting prisoners in half of the country's correctional facilities.
Tonga
Prison Fellowship Tonga, a faith-based, nongovernmental organization, is active in all of the country's six prisons. Formed in 1989, PFT serves this almost entirely Christian prison community by sharing the gospel as well as words of hope and encouragement. In addition to serving the prisoners, staff and volunteers provide family ministry and Angel Tree for the children of prisoners.
