A Path to Peace

When Boyce killed the man, he did not think of the wife who became a widow, or the child who became an orphan...until six years later when Boyce became a Christian.

Six years into serving his life-sentence for murder, Boyce began attending church and gave his life to God. Now filled with remorse, he wanted to meet with the wife of his victim. PF Swaziland arranged for her visit. Upon seeing her, Boyce broke down, “I‘m so sorry for the pain I‘ve cause you,” he sobbed. Quoting from the Bible, the widow tearfully responded that both she and the Lord have forgiven him.

PF Swaziland has many such stories of how they‘ve helped bring peace to prisoners, victims of crime and their families. “Reconciliation plays a major role in helping inmates to truly reform and become better citizens and better members of their families and society,” explains Ethel Nhleko, PF Swaziland‘s Executive Director.
