Programmes
Prison Fellowship International (PFI) has developed a number of strategic program initiatives for use by affiliated national Prison Fellowship organizations, including:
Angel Tree® – In the Angel Tree® Programme, PF organisations partner with local churches to provide Christmas gifts for the children of prisoners. In addition to the Christmas project, there are Angel Tree® camps, retreats, and a variety of year-round events and support services designed to reach out to the forgotten victims of crime – prisoners’ children.
Communities of Restoration (APAC) – Communities of Resotration are faith-based prison units based on a programme developed over a 30-years period in Brazil. Prisoners volunteer to participate in a graduated programme designed to help them experience and participate in responsible, giving, loving relationships.
Global Assistance Programme – The Global Assistance Programme mobilizes short-term voluntary medical and technical projects for needy prisoners through national PF organisations.
Sycamore Tree Project® - A faith-based programme that brings victims into prisons to meet with unrelated offenders. The groups discuss issues related to crime and its consequences.
Week of Prayer and Transformation – Week of Prayer and Transformation brings together PF staff and volunteers with local churches and individuals for a special week of prayer and action.
